On November 13, 2025, we had the pleasure of participating in one of the most significant events in the Northern European laundry industry. The Autumn Meeting of the Swedish Textile Service Association (Sveriges Tvätteriförbund) in Lund was not only an opportunity for us to showcase RTP solutions but, above all, an inspiring lesson on the future of textile services.
This year’s edition, hosted at the Elite Hotel Ideon in Lund, set entirely new standards for the industry. The event gathered a record-breaking 205 participants and 42 exhibitors—including the RTP Radom stand. The atmosphere of the meeting, combined with the celebration of the Association’s 85th anniversary, clearly demonstrated that this sector is growing dynamically and uniting forces toward innovation.
Here are the key takeaways we brought back from Sweden:
1. Waste Becomes Value – A Lesson in Circularity
As a manufacturer of reusable solutions, we listened with great interest to the keynote speech by Anders Thorgaard from the Textilia Group. He presented impressive results from the Upcy ApS initiative, which in 2024 alone transformed 640 tons of discarded textiles into over 2.8 million new products. This confirms RTP’s mission: the industry must move away from a single-use mentality. Both upcycling and our durable laundry bags and covers are elements of the same strategy—closing the loop and reducing waste.
2. Transparency is the New Currency
We were deeply impressed by the presentation from PDNA (Product DNA). Robin Cornelius and Thibaut Poncin demonstrated how technology and software can transform raw data into full supply chain transparency. The motto “the consumer has the right to know” resonates with us—at RTP, we also prioritize full quality control by sewing 100% of our products in Poland, guaranteeing certainty and safety for our clients.
3. Technology and Ecology Go Hand in Hand
The meeting in Lund confirmed that a modern laundry is a blend of advanced technology and environmental responsibility:
Max Ziermann from Sankosha Europe presented innovations in automation that increase process efficiency (which aligns perfectly with our monorail bags).
Henry Eskola from Scandbio AB proved that the transition to renewable energy (pellets) is both economically and ecologically justified.
Why Lund?
The choice of location was no accident. Lina Olsson from the City Administration presented Lund as one of Europe’s 100 leading cities in climate transformation, aiming for climate neutrality by 2030. Being part of an event in such a future-oriented environment is a source of pride for RTP Radom.

The 2025 Autumn Meeting was one of the most substantive and forward-looking events in the Association’s history. We are delighted to have been a part of it, exchanging experiences with market leaders and jointly shaping the future of sustainable textile services.
